Founded in 1949 as State Bonding and Insurance Company, Inc., we grew to become a trusted name in the insurance market.
In 1977, we established a medical insurance division to meet the increasing demand for health coverage and by 1986, we rebranded as Blue Cross Insurance, Inc., focusing solely on medical, personal accident, and travel insurance.
In 2015, we took another step forward by rebranding as Pacific Cross, part of a strategic move to align with our regional partners within the Pacific Cross Group.

Pacific Cross Health Insurance PCL is a non-life insurance company and is the accumulation of over 33 years of insurance operations in Thailand. This history includes Blue Cross Thailand, established in 1982 and sold to Bupa in 1996, Med-Sure, established in 2001, and the partnership LMG Pacific Healthcare, established in 2005. The company maintains a wide Direct Billing Network of hospitals, clinics and medical facilities across Thailand.
Med-Sure Services was formed in 1987 with an initial focus on claims administration for one dedicated insurer based in Thailand. During the 1990s, the company experienced considerable growth as it expanded its services to the corporate marketplace.

Pacific Cross Vietnam is a Third Party Administrator operating in partnership with leading non-life and life insurance companies in Vietnam. Established in 2004 the company is recognized as the leading medical insurance administrator in the country. Previously operated as Blue Cross Vietnam the company changed its name in 2015. The company maintains a wide Direct Billing Network of hospitals, clinics and medical facilities across Vietnam.
